When the three young men Lallan (Abhishek Bachchan), Michael (Ajay Devgan) and Arjun (Vivek Oberoi) are brought together by an accident on the Second Hoogly Bridge, their lives change irreversibly. Their change, their conflict, and their interactions with each other is the crux of the film. The film examines the lives of these three men and their families and the complex relationships between individuals who are very different, yet so similar. Among the female leads, the film stars Rani Mukherjee, Esha Deol and Kareena Kapoor paired opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi respectively. Sonu Sood, who won critical acclaim for his performance as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, is playing the main negative lead in the film. Ratnam's favorite A.R.Rehman has composed the music of the film while Mehboob has written the lyrics. |
