| 'Paisa Vasool' puts
two very different kinds of actors - Sushmita Sen and Manisha Koirala - in
constantly surprising and ticklish situations to exploit their amazing
on-screen chemistry. They are surrounded by a superb supporting cast of
actors (Makrand Deshpande, Sushant Singh, Tinu Anand, Kunal Vijaykar, Vijay
Patkar, Rakhi Sawant etc). Laced with whacky humour and colourful
characters, the dialogues, music and visuals create a smart entertainer for
every kind of audience. So, what’s it all about? 'Paisa Vasool' is a comic thriller set in Mumbai. Manisha Koirala & Sushmita Sen play the two heroes with an attitude here, single working women who meet by chance and start sharing an apartment. Sushmita Sen plays BABY, an aspiring actress from Delhi who is struggling to make it as an actress, but ends up being a dancer in movies and music videos (because she is too tall for most heroes!) Manisha Koirala plays Maria Rosario a catholic girl from Goa, who has run away from an abusive husband and a small town life and runs a bakery now. A charming young man Johnny played by Sushant Singh, in the apartment next door brings them cheer and optimism despite the struggles of life. Like most migrants in Mumbai, they are ambitious about making a lot of money and getting a better life. In a strange twist of events, the two women stumble upon a robbery. They decide to blackmail the crooks into sharing the loot with them, little realizing that their mischief is going to trigger a chain of unpredictable events involving a bunch of crazy characters. Soon these girls face unpleasant secrets and inescapable danger. Now, they have no choice but to plan a revenge as well as get their “Paisa Vasool”! The mood of the movie is playful yet gripping. Laced with black humor and colourful characters, the dialogues, music and visuals create a credible world- adding up to stylish entertainment for every kinf of audience.
