Abhay stays with his widowed mother and younger sister in Mumbai. Their’s is a small and content family, unknown to the different relationships and bonds that abound a typical Indian family. When they receive a telegram from his grandfather, inviting them to their place for the first time, Abhay’s joy knows no bounds. With many expectations, they reach the grandfather’s home. But Abhay feels dejected by the indifferent attitude of his Dadaji. Very amiable and lovable as he is, Abhay soon wins the heart of all family members in Dadaji’s house. The affection of his Dadi Maa, aunts and uncles move him and he treasures all the fine moments. In a very youthful and playful manner, Abhay falls in love with Mangla. But even before his love story turns fruitful, some hard truths from the past surface. Abhay decides to heal the wounds suffered in the past. But he is least aware that his noble intentions will upset his very own dream world. Will Abhay realize his love? Will his efforts to win his Dadaji's heart turn fruitful? Will his endeavour to cleanse the past be successful? Is the happiness of your family more than your own?- This forms the rest of the story. ‘Kuch Tum Kaho….Kuch Hum Kahein’ unfolds the canvas of the different relationships and bonds that signify a typical Indian Family; it takes one down the memory lane to one’s childhood-the fun filled days one would have spent at one’s Dadaji’s village during vacation.
