If two people are destined to meet no power on earth can separate them. The film dwells on this theme and shows the trials and tribunals of two lovers..
    Jatin, a rich nri is coming from america to india to get married to a girl of his mothers choice.
    En route he meets a girl karishma who is also coming to get married to a boy her father has chosen. But destiny has other plans for them. Their first meeting ensues in a quarrel but at delhi airport they are stuck together due to non availability of flight. Since their destination is same, they hire a taxi for vijaynagar and thus embark on a journey that rajasthan and gujarat and brings them nearer. But, before they could express their love to each other, their journey comes to end and they both part ways.
    From here starts a heart rending saga of two lovers cannot live without each other but don't want to defy their parents either.
    As their marriage date comes nearer their longing for each other becomes unberable, but, their strong family bonds and fear of society makes them helpless.
Will jatin and karishma meet or separate for ever. What rolr will destiny play. The answer to all this is an entertaining and heartwarming film "kitne door kitne paas"
