This is the story of Ramsaran Pandey, who comes from Jaunpur, a district in U.P. Circumstances force him to come down to Mumbai, to eke out a living. He gets a job in a garage, as a mechanic. He happens to meet Kaamya a press reporter, who is in search of an innocent and honest person, which is hard to find in a city like Mumbai. Ramsaran falls in love with her, and nurses the opinion that she too loves him.

Ramsaran’s friend Gaitonde is a small time marriage videophotographer. He has a very small income. His relationship with his wife is not good because of this reason.

Ramsaran gets jilted in love and thinks that the reason for his rejection is that he is poor. So he decides to go to abroad to earn money. In the process he gets entangled with the underworld. They hire him as a contract killer. They promise him that he will be sent to abroad immediately after the killing.

When Gaitonde come to know what Ramsaran is getting into, he sees an opportunity to make some easy money. He plans to video shoot it on a sly. Ramsaran agrees for the same as he assures him that in no circumstance will Ramsaran’s face be shown. He makes a deal with TV channel to pay him nearly 50 lacs in exchange of the footage of a live murder.

Gaitonde succeeds in his plan but in the process Ramsaran is also photographed while he was shooting at the dead body. Gaitonde realizes his mistake but chooses to betray Ramsaran. He finalizes the deal and returns home with a man from the channel with the money. On reaching home he realizes  that there was a shoot out and everybody is dead except Ramsaran. Gaitonde plans to kill the man from the channel and abscond with Ramsaran and the money. On seeing the dead bodies the man dies of shock.

   

    

 After a few years Ramsaran has become a notorious don, Gaitonde his right hand there. Ramsaran has become so cold blooded that he get Gaitonde killed as Gaitonde has not mend his ways and keeps doublecrossing him whenever he finds the opportunity.

In the end law prevails and Ramsaran is shot dead in a police encounter.
