SYNOPSIS

Abhay (Akshaye khanna) is an athletic, bright, fun loving college kid, who one day finds himself in the middle of encounter between Police Inspector Suraj Khanna (Vinod Khanna) from the Narcotic Dept. and Rana (Danny) who is a major drug trafficker. Abhay is impressed by Suraj~s fearlessness and honesty. Suraj is impressed by Abhay~s guts. Both begin to adr~ire each other. Ruby (Shazia Malik) is a friend of Abhay, but she is not onty a drug addict, she works as a carrier for Rana. Ab hay has only sympathy for her, not love. He actually falls in love with Esha (Anjala Zaveri) the foreign returned daughter of retired army Major. Mathur (Satish Shah) in Dalhouise where his mother owns an apple orchid. Abhay who worships "Shiva", has a deep, dark wound his father who did not marry his mother and left both of fend for themselves. His sole desire is to confront his father for the injustice done to them. Suraj kills Vicky (Rocky) who is Rana's only son, in an ancounter. Rana vows to kill Suraj over the dead body of his son. Abhay and Esha get engaged under the benign watchful eyes of Lord Shiva, but a storm awaits them which will shatter their lives.

Will Abhay finally and inevitably meet and confront his father and get justice for his unwed mother? Will Rana be successful in taking revenge of his son’s death? And what does Abhay do to prove himself to be a true "'HIMALAY PUTRA".
